Program

Text messages from Mt. Hood Cabin Stays are sent by Blackburn Management Systems, Inc. (“BMS”), 9808 NE 126th Ave, Suite C, Vancouver, WA 98682, which operates the Mt. Hood Cabin Stays vacation cabins in Rhododendron, Oregon. BMS sends two kinds of transactional, non-marketing messages:

Guest messages: booking confirmations, check-in details and arrival instructions, stay updates, and replies to questions guests send us.
Crew job notices (BMS Ops crew alerts): cleaning and maintenance assignments, new turnover cleans, schedule changes and cancelled jobs for BMS cleaning and maintenance crew members.

We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How to opt in

Guest opt-in

Guests opt in on our Text me about my stay page (https://mthood-cabins.com/text-me) by entering their name and mobile number and checking an optional box, unchecked by default, that reads:

“Yes, send me text messages from Blackburn Management Systems, Inc. (Mt. Hood Cabin Stays) about my reservation: booking confirmations, check-in details, stay updates and replies to my questions. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of booking. See SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.”

Crew opt-in

Crew members opt in during profile setup in the BMS crew portal by checking an optional box, unchecked by default (screenshot: crew consent screen).

Text message consent is optional: it is not a condition of booking, work, contracting, or portal access, and the same information is available by email or in the portal.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your reservation or the cleaning schedule. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You’ll receive one confirmation and no further messages. Reply START to resubscribe.
Reply HELP for help.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may change or end the program at any time and will tell participants about material changes.

Privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy.
